Leather Interior Care

After installing a leather interior, protect your investment!

Simple cleaning and maintenance can prolong the life of your leather interior, saving you money in the long run. Here are a few tips to help you keep your leather in good condition:

1) Beware of sunlight - leather is particularly susceptible to sunlight damage due to UV rays drying out the leathers natural oils. When not in use or while being exposed to direct sunlight, sun blockers for the windshield and/or rear windows can help protect your interior from harmful rays.

2) Keep it clean - Leather is an easy surface to clean – mild soap and water will do, and be sure to use a soft cotton cloth or rag (as opposed to paper towels, which can cause scratches).

3) Use Leather Protection Cream - When applied once every 3 months or so, a protection cream will help keep the leather from drying out and cracking as well as provide protection from moisture and stains. Creams that contain sunscreen can also protect from UV rays.
